Downhill Brewing- Greenwood Village
About This Spot
Stepping into Downhill Brewing in Greenwood Village feels like being welcomed into a space where the love of craft beer is shared quietly but enthusiastically. It’s the kind of local brewery that invites you to slow down, settle in, and savor the moment without fuss. The hum of friendly conversation moves easily between two cozy rooms, each offering its own slice of laid-back comfort, with enough room to feel connected yet not overwhelmed.
The mood here is unpretentious and earnest, buoyed by a staff who clearly take pride in their work and genuinely enjoy the people who walk through the door. There’s a calming, steady rhythm to the place—whether you’re sampling a flight, catching the scent of a freshly warmed pizza from just behind the bar, or joining a lively but intimate weekly trivia night. It feels like a familiar neighborhood spot where faces become friendly acquaintances and where every visit can bring a small, pleasant discovery.
Downhill’s beverage offerings reflect a thoughtful balance of local creativity and approachable flavors. From hazy IPAs with their soft, juicy notes to unexpected sours and rich porters, each pour invites curiosity and conversation. The food is simple but satisfying—a warm pretzel or crisply fried fish and chips enhance the beer experience without drawing focus away from what matters most: sharing a moment and unwinding together.
Seating options flex with purpose, from high tops to outdoor spots when the weather allows, encouraging different ways to gather whether in a quiet corner or amidst the gentle pulse of a full house. While the space is cozy, the care put into service and atmosphere helps everyone feel at ease, even on a busy weekend afternoon.
Downhill Brewing quietly stands as a community anchor—an earnest slice of Greenwood Village where the craft of brewing meets the simple joy of good company and well-made beer.

I went with a friend here and I think I like it better than the Parker location. Maybe it’s the two rooms? I tried the hazy ipas and a lighter brew with ginger lime. I liked each beverage, the taste was good. We were asked occasionally if we needed anything, staff were always great. Didn’t try the pizzas but the pretzel was good.

Great brewery with lots of choices. The peanut butter porter was delicious! No food on location l except for some chips and pretzels. Probably only one 2-seat table available at 1700 on a Saturday Accessibility: no curb-cuts near the front entrance, minimal space inside the brewery but tables could be moved Parking: in front or around the shopping center; no accessible spots nearby Seating: indoor, outdoor, table-height and bar-height as well as bar seating Options: many beers! Staff: kind, attentive Restrooms: 2 large single stalls, clean Atmosphere: cozy, music could be a bit quieter. If you sit outside, Arapahoe road is pretty loud. Animals: yes, leashed Kid Friendly: yes!

First time visitor, but not the last. This place is a great surprise; the people who work here really care about what they do and it's got a down to earth, we're here for a purpose vibe. They serve local frozen premade pizza, heated up right behind the bar (the smell is dangerously tempting), and their socially distanced trivia every Thursday is bomb, really well done. Their apricot sour is probably the best sour I've had, a their flight is a great deal, especially for the higher ABV beers. We'll be back!

Peak View always has unique specialty beers on tap. Today we tried Peaches & Cream Strudel and Chocolate Covered Cherry Stout. Flights are highly recommended! Expansion looks great, additional seating was definitely necessary. High top, low top and outdoor seating available. Parking is limited. Merch: Shirts, hoodies, hats and glasses

I would have posted this under an anonymous name, but I don’t need to hide behind that. I’ve been coming here since the opening of Peakview and regularly since the transition to Downhill — something like seven years now. I’ve always appreciated everyone on staff I’ve encountered, and I honestly think the current team is the best combination of personalities and vibe this place has ever had. There’s a genuine friendliness here — the kind that makes you feel welcome whether you’re a regular or it’s your first visit. The staff know their beer, the energy is easygoing but upbeat, and it’s clear everyone working here actually enjoys being part of it. That’s rare, and it deserves credit.

Great staff and one of the best kolsch beers I've had. Also very tasty blood orange wheat, nor overly orange. Didn't try but the pizza smelled delicious! Will be back. Coxy mountain feel inside. Also has tvs. Had football on when I was here which i liked. Is dog friendly too.

Just moved to the area and have been checking out the local breweries and this is the best so far! Matty was behind the bar and he is GREAT at his job and obviously loves what he does - What an asset to the brewery! The hazy IPA was lovely and I’ll definitely be back with fantastic customer service and fantastic beers!
